Laboral Kutxa Baskonia and Dolomiti Energía Trento will play on the 29th of September in a solidarity game for Syrian refugees.
The Baskonia fans will be able to enjoy their team live in the traditional “Trofeo Diputación”, in what will be the premiere of the new Baskonia coached by Velimir Perasovic. The new Baskonia will be presented to the fans in the Buesa Arena next Tuesday 29th of September against Dolomiti Energía Trento, starting at 20:30, in a game that will have a strong solidarity character.
The entire amount of the collected at the ticket office will be completely destined to the NGO Save The Children, that will allocate these funds to help the refugee children from Syria.
Saski Baskonia and the Provincial Council of Araba want to show this way their strong commitment to a social problem that affects tens of thousands of people. For that, the tickets will be sold at popular prices for the XXIV Provincial Council Trophy (5 euros, level 3 – 10 euros, levels 1 and 2). The Baskonia subscribers have this game included on their season ticket but they will be able to donate, in case they want to do so, in a zero row that will be ready for all those that want to collaborate with this solidary cause.
The Laboral Kutxa Baskonia players are also supporting this action giving up their names in support of the refugee children in this first game at the Buesa Arena. Each one will wear a name of a refugee in their backs, due to this humanitarian disaster. The shirts used on this Provincial Council Trophy will be auctioned and the amount collected will also be destined to the affected by this world crisis. The tickets for this solidary game can be acquired from today in the common channels: Baskonia-Alaves Store, phone number 902139191 and in www.baskonia.com.

More than a half million children have fled the war in Syria looking for a place to live in peace; half of the refugees who are coming to our borders are underage. These figures and the desperate situation that the children and their families live should lead us to action. Therefore, from Save the Children they would like to acknowledge this initiative powered by Baskonia, that with the support of the Provincial Council of Araba will allocate the funds collected to the attention of the refugees in the countries bordering Syria and in the moment they arrive to Spain, so they receive the protection and attention they need.
We all play the “Trofeo Diputación”. Collaborate!
