French power forward faces his third season as baskonista full of excitement and responsibility.
Kim Tillie participates since yesterday in Laboral Kutxa Baskonia preseason after his first experience in the Olympics with France. “It’s something I wanted to live since I was a child. I was there with my brother and father and it’s like a dream come true” commented in his first press conference with the media this season.
Third season for Kim Tillie at Baskonia and he is willing to take responsibility as the veteran he is. “We have to show new players how things work here. I’ll try to be talkative and leader the team as much as I can either the locker room or on the floor. I stepped up year by year and I have to continue like this.”
.There is not pressure at all to be motivated to repeat las year’s success. “This season we must build like we did last year and continue with the same core, energy and toughness. A lot of players are having a big role on the team and altogether we’ll try to repeat the experience of last season.”
Tillie speaks about the bench changes so far. “Sito has a lot of energy and he focuses on the details. If we play with the intensity there’s a lot of talent on the team and I’m sure playing hard on deffense we’ll be very dangerous for the rest of the teams.”
