Sito Alonso has been officially introduced as new Laboral Kutxa Baskonia head coach. Madrid-born manager has pointed on the press conference that coaching the team “is a great step for my career and I’m going to seize it”.
The new head coach has stood out what is a priority for him. “You cannot give away the things that up to. Your effort, sacrifice, and dedication put on every practice, any time are the key to be competitive. These things must be done based on perfection”, claimed.
On the other hand, Sito Alonso has shown fortunate for being trust by a “basketball club”, linked to Europe and with “great ambition and growth”. Besides, he told which the daily basis will be for the team next season.
“Physically we need the potential just as last season the team had. In Euroleague our physical preparation is important and we have to look for versatile players too”.
Lastly, Sito Alonso has expressed that “it is the best challenge in my career. I have no doubt who I want to be and have the enough ambition to become in a better coach”.
