One of the leaders for Alba Berlin in the last European campaign becomes the first Baskonia signing of the 2020-21 season.
KIROLBET Baskonia has secured the services of Lithuanian forward Rokas Giedraitis with an agreement for the next three seasons. Giedraitis, born in Tauragé, Lithuania on August 16, 1992, comes to the Vitorian team after playing last season for Alba Berlin, where he has just been proclaimed BBL champion.
The Lithuanian international began his professional career in his native country in 2015 where he signed with Lietuvos Rytas. He remained in the Lithuanian team for three seasons with which he played the Eurocup. In the 2018-19 season he made the leap to the highest basketball competition in Europe at the hands of Alba Berlin, where he has spent the last two years.
During this campaign in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague the new Baskonia forward has averaged 13.8 points and 4 rebounds for a 14.7 valuation, being the top scorer of the German team. In addition, he has been proclaimed champion with the Berlin entity, establishing himself as one of the references of the domestic competition with 10.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and a valuation of 11.7.
