Four baskonistas are looking for a passport to the FIBA 2017 Eurobasket Qualifiers that begins on Wednesday and will be developed until September 17.
Adam Hanga, Toko Shengelia, Jaka Blazic y Johannes Voigtmann will get their national team job under way this Wednesday. The aim is to qualify for the FIBA 2017 Eurobasket which four different countries –Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey– are hosting.
All blue and red players are drawn in separately facing home and away three other national teams. Every baskonista will begin the tip-off at home the playing six games overall to become champion of the group and get the spot for the Eurobasket.
Adam Hanga is going to be the first player to make his debut at the Qualifiers against Great Britain. (W/ 6 pm). One hour later Tornike Shengelia hosts in Tiflis Albania, being Montenegro the main threat in Group B. Meanwhile Johannes Voigtmann and Jaka Blazic will square off Denmark (7.30 pm) and Kosovo (8 pm).
Four international players are taking advantage of this summer action to prepare for next season when Laboral Kutxa Baskonia will host Supercup Endesa, first title of the season.
