Rafa Luz is the second adding for Baskonia this 2016-17 season. 24-years old playmaker (1.88 m) has reached an agreement with Saski Baskonia for the next two seasons.
The player won the Brazilian League past season, averaging 7 points, 4.1 assists, 3 rebounds and 1.3 steals. Furthermore, in the continental competition ‘Liga de las Américas’ Luz registered 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and he recovered 1.4 balls per game.
Rafa Luz has previous experience in Liga Endesa, having played for Obradoiro, Alicante and Unicaja, his first team in Spain.
The new baskonista player will fill the space as national player on the team. These days he has joined Brazil national team which is drawn in the Group B of the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
