The BIBC 2016 comes with new features like nocturnal basket. In this edition the range of age of participants is also expanded by unifying the BIBC and the Minibasket camp
The inscriptions for the Baskonia International Basketball Camp 2016, which will take place from 3 to 17 July in double shift, are officially open for those young people born between 1998 – 2004 for Basket and 2005 – 2007 for Minibasket seeking to mature and improve their game in first class facilities.
The BIBC fulfills in 2016 its eighth edition, establishing itself as one of the benchmarks at the state level within the work of perfecting. Every summer hundreds of young people from all parts of the world have an appointment in Vitoria, that choose the Baskonia model to improve their basketball.
The Buesa Arena and BAKH are two of the scenarios where young people work an average of eight hours a day to enrich their individual skills and progress in other aspects of the game thanks to a meticulous working method, directed by David Gil and carried out by a dozen of highly qualified and experienced coaches, accompanied by physiotherapists, coordinators, and monitors that make the stay unique and unforgettable.
Individual tactics, games and night basket
The working method includes a progressive circuit of individual technique and tactics in the mornings, fundamentals led to real game situations so the player can successfully solve different situations that may occur in games. In the afternoon, the workouts are aimed at translating those fundamentals in the collective game, with a daily space for an internal 5×5 competition.
The basket option for players born between 1998-2004 also includes the novelty of night basketball, with two options to choose: a 3×3 Tournament to learn playing or Shooting Drills, the ideal choice for the methodical of the shooting foundation.
The BIBC also combines intensive basketball training for players of intermediate and advanced level with activities such as language courses, group dynamics, documentary viewing and leisure activities and free time.
