The shooting guard, former Gran Canaria player, signs until the end of the season and will arrive in Vitoria this afternoon in order to pass the medical examinations.
Laboral Kutxa Baskonia acquired the services of Ben Hansbrough until the end of the present season. The shooting guard 1.91 meters tall and 27 years old has just landed in Spain and heads to Vitoria in order to undergo the pertinent medical examinations before his presentation as new Baskonia player
Hansbrough was formed at the University of Poplar Bluff in Missouri and then played during five seasons in the NCAA for Mississippi and Notre Damme. The player made the leap to Europe in the season 2011-12 and played the Eurocup first with Bayern Munchen and then with Krka Novo Mesto of the Adriatic League. In the season 2012-13 returned to United States in order to dispute a season on the NBA with the Indiana Pacers.
Ben Hansbrough also knows the ACB League because last season he played for Herbalife Gran Canaria in which he averaged 11.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Until now the new Baskonia signing was playing at the NBA Development League with Grand Rapids Drive, the development team of the Detroit Pistons.
Hansbrough will arrive in Vitoria this afternoon in order to undergo the pertinent medical examinations.
