The North American player arrives from the Italian league where he emerged as the top rebounder the past two seasons.
Laboral Kutxa Baskonia has secured the services of Oderah Anosike for the next season. The center 2.03 meters tall born in New York the 3rd of January 1991 and with Nigerian nationality, comes to the Baskonia discipline as the top rebounder of the Italian Lega, competition he disputed last year playing for Sidigas Avellino. He played a total of 30 games with the Italian team averaging 11.15 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1 assists, adding 14 double-doubles in his second season in the Italian Serie A, after debuting in Europe with Scavolini in the 2013-14 season.
The new Baskonia center was formed at the University of Siena and emerged as the top rebounder of the NCAA two seasons in a row. With the arrival of Anosike, the Vitorian squad ensures physical power, intensity and rebounding ability on the paint. The player will join Baskonia’s preseason that will begin the next Friday 28th of August in order to undergo the pertinent medical examinations before being presented officially as new Baskonia player.
