Jaka Blazic is pleased to be in the Eurobasket next year once Slovenia booked their ticket in yesterday’s game against Bulgary. “Before Bulagary’s game we were really motivated because we wanted to get through. We knew we were better than them but we had to show this on the court.”
“We have qualified for the Eurobasket. It has been a good summer for our national team. We had a new coach coming from the States who he was working for the Utah Jazz and we had to adjust what he wanted to set both defense and offense. We hope we continue like this year and even grow as a team next year,” said.
On his personal summer, Blazic commented that “it was for me good summer and I’m coming ready and full of expectations to Vitoria.”
“I can’t wait to come there. I need to learn some of the plays and meet the new coach and players. I’m excited, it’s a new journey, a new beginning. I hope we can do with results this year. In the Supercup it’s gonna be full of our fans that’s amazing for the first official game of the season. We will put our heart on the floor and we’ll se wat’s going to happen in the end.”
