The Alavese entity implements the Performance System project innovative platform ‘ Fox in the box’ to improve the performance of athletes through the set of statistical data.
The Baskonia-Alavés Group continues being, once more, at the technological forefront with the implementation of the technique ‘Fox in the Box’. A new platform that allows, not only to measure the parameters of the game or training statistics, also allows to obtain information about the welfare, anthropometry, lifestyle or sleep quality of any of the sporters and to be able to optimize the performance of the player in an unprecedented way to date.
A software that will allow to gathe all the information about the sports preparation of a player in one place and put it at the service of all the professionals of the Baskonia-Alavés Group. ‘Fox in the Box’ stores and analyzes physical information for the players´development and which will be implemented in the project BAL Preformance System, in its optimization program of the players´ performance.
In this way, the Finnish firm, JS Hercules, is introduced, through Baskonia and Alavés Sports Club, in the highest European football competition, LaLiga, as well as in the League Endesa and Euroleague, top figures in continental basketball.
In the fact of the Baskonia-Alavés Group, its professionals will be able to use ‘Fox in the Box’ to check the progress of their players. Every day a lot of information is generated about them, their different trainings and lifestyles
This software allows to receive, access and use all that information obtained, from any part of the world, to make appropriate decisions that will carry out at each moment of the athlete’s life and to manage the athlete’s habits for an optimal performance.
A technological project with which the Baskonia-Alavés Group can carry out large-scale studies through the data transmitted by its athletes. An innovative technique that will also lead to the sport and institutional growth of the entity, a pioneer in the development of science applied to sport.
