The Business Club Baskonia Alaves was born in the 2010-2011 season as a project for interaction between companies using services by Alaves and Baskonia to improve their visibility, brand and relations with customers and partners.
All companies belonging to the Business Club had the opportunity to participate in an extensive program of activities aimed primarily at the creation of synergies between partners.
This season began on September 19 with a breakfast meeting where the presentation of the Business Directory took place.
During October, members of the Business Club attended an exclusive event for them. They had the opportunity to meet the members of the Laboral Kutxa roster. They also got to know the professional and athletic goals of the club for the new season. At that same event a customized jersey and other gifts were handed to each company.
The activity in October was varied and innovative. The first day of open doors for affiliate members of the Business Club was held. Several associate companies were visited and as a highlight of the day a world-class coaching expert, Alvaro Merino, shared the keys that great athletes’ experiences contribute to business success in an interesting conference.
This season has also held the 1st Business Chess with a few business cards in the pocket and the sharing of new experiences. There were more than 30 companies who actively enjoyed the event in a friendly business environment. It took place in 3 consecutive rounds of 5-10 minutes each.
During that time, the companies exchanged views and scheduled future private meeting in order to keep working. After this, member companies of the Club showed us some of the virtues of their businesses, exposing their work verbally and even showing graphics and corporate videos.
The proximity to the Club has been much higher this season and Business Club members also enjoyed a talk with Baskonia coach Sergio Scariolo in the Buesa Arena newsroom during the month of November. In addition they have also been able to train with members of the roster of Baskonia and Deportivo Alaves.
Definitely one of the highlights of the year was the trip to New York City in December. An expedition of 19 people enjoyed four days full of emotions and had the opportunity to share table with Mirza Teletovic and Pablo Prigioni.
The 2013/2014 season has also hosted a day of practical training about support for organizations and individuals that make up the process of developing their full potential, performance improvement and therefore profitability through LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method, a process of training and strategic transformation
The Club has also organized business training sessions and corporate meals in order to strengthen relationships.
The last activity organized by the Business Club took place on July 3 as the culmination of a season of successful activity, the Business Club along with its member companies, celebrated an extensive and enjoyable day in the city of Zaragoza.
Attendees toured the brewery AMBER, the factory site of the country’s oldest brewer. After the tour ended, participants tasted all varieties of their beer.
The day continued with a group meal where sufficient energy for the next challenge was taken. Fast-paced and competitive, business club members went to the International Karting Circuit in Zuera, where along its 1075 m long track, all participants gave the best of themselves in individual competitions at the wheel of powerful karts , reaching top speeds of 85km/h.
