New baskonista Josh Akognon lands in Vitoria-Gasteiz after a long career that he has primarily developed in CBA League.
The American has earned the reputation after becoming China Basketball Association’s top three-point shooter in 2011, 2013 and 2015.
Akognon played a total 36 games with the Shenzen Leopards in 2011-12 season on a 35% from the three-point line. His numbers grew up along the way in the rest of the seasons he was enrolled in CBA’s teams reaching a highest 46% shooting from the range.
The pointguard has also played 18 games in the NBA D-League for Delaware 87ers y Canton Charge on a 42% three-point chart.
