The Serbian point guard and the azulgrana club unite for the 2024-25 season.
Ognjen Jaramaz (Kruševac, 1995) and Baskonia have reached an agreement until 2025. The 1.93-meter point guard, a Serbian national team player, joins from Partizan and will soon integrate into the azulgrana team’s preseason.
Jaramaz, who developed in the Serbian Mega Basket youth academy, brings extensive experience in European basketball and is also familiar with the Liga Endesa, having played for San Pablo Burgos during the 2018-19 season, where he averaged 6.4 points. From 2018 to 2021, Ognjen continued his career with Partizan Belgrade, averaging 9.5 points and 2.6 assists in the 2020-21 EuroCup season.
Over the next two seasons, he played for Bayern Munich, making his EuroLeague debut and averaging 6.8 points in the 2021-22 season and 6.4 points in 2022-23. Last season, Jaramaz played 22 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Partizan, averaging over 12 minutes per game.
Baskonia adds an experienced player to complete its roster under the leadership of Pablo Laso for the upcoming season. Ongi etorri, Ognjen!
