First New Era’s Euroleague Final Four will be celebrated in Istanbul as this morning Euroleague’s decision was released in press conference.
On 19-21st May next year Istanbul is closing the first season in which every team will have to defeat every Euroleague opponent followed by the first regular season in European basketball.
Sinan Erdem Arena is the venue chosen to host next Final Four. It opened its doors in 2010 and it’s the second time the Euroleague final is held, after Olympiacos thrilling win against CSKA in 2012.
This arena has a capacity of 16,000 spectators for basketball and also the World Cup in 2010 was played there.
Baskonia starts the journey on October 14th against Anadolu Efes at Buesa.
