Baskonia will square-off Herbalife Gran Canaria in Supercup Endesa semifinal. It’s going to be the last Liga Endesa Playoff semifinal rematch as both teams played each other just few months ago.
Cnary Islands team has enrolled four new faces to their roster: Royce O’Neale, Richard Hendrix, Bo McCalebb y Darko Planinic, who played for Baskonia last year.
In addition Luis Casimiro has sat on the yellow team’s bench. They will land in Vitoria-Gasteiz Buesa Arena undefeated this summer. They averaged 92.3 points all summer long, beating Iberostar Tenerife, Movistar Estudiantes, Unicaja, Montakit Fuenlabrada, Dominion Bilbao Basket and Ratipharm by at least 19.8 points.
Bo McCalebb is Herbalife 2016-17 season main adding. The pointguard from MKD was the top-scorer in 2011-12 Euroleague competition and makes Herbalife Gran Canaria’s even stronger considering their powerful frontcourt.
Baskonia and Herbalife Gran Canaria has played against a total of 64 Liga Endesa games, with 46 wins for Baskonia, also on the only clash between both clubs at Copa del Rey.
