Homegrown baskonistas are the future of Baskonia organization but also in this preseason, at the present.. Tadas Sedekerskis, Daniel Bordignon, Sander Raieste, Arturs Kurucs y Jurij Macura are taking advantage of this experience so far with the first team.
Young baskonistas prospects tell us how the first days of this preseason are going. They’re trying to interiorize the knowledge and high rythm of Sito Alonso’s sessions.
“It’s a huge step in mi career being able to make this preseason appearance with the team. We’ve got a very talented group of players and we’re putting on all the hard work,” says Tadas Sedekerskis.
To Jurij Macura being with the pro team is “something nobody can tell it happened”. “During our first practice I could not imagine I was there with all of them but later on I focused on learning everything I could from them”.
Moreover, Sander Raieste points this is “a wonderful opportunity for me to play with a lot of experienced guys and be part of Baskonia. It’s fun and exciting you see this guys on TV and now it’s like a dream practicing with all of them.”
Meanwhile Artur Kurucs says he can “enjoy the moment at the top of your game” and also he is keen on “having the opportunity to practice and improve with great players.”
Daniel Bordignon highlights “the new tactical systems” that are a “big change” relative to other teams also phisycally. About new baskonistas Bordignon says they have an “upper quality and will give a lot to the team.”
