Baskonista is looking for a spot in the Eurobasket prior to his arrival in Vitoria-Gasteiz under the new Euroleague’s appeal.
Jaka Blazic spends these days with Slovenia National Team preparing the 2017 Eurobasket Qualifiers beginning August 31. Slovenia is drawn in the Group E along with Ukraine, Bulgary and Kosovo being a contender to advance to the European tournament. ” I think we can make it if we give our best in every practice and on the court during the games. We’ve got good players, there’s good chemistry and we should not have problems to qualify having respect for the other teams”.
After European clashes Blazic will join the baskonista preseason to start his second season in Vitoria. A course in which Jaka expects continue to gorw as a player helping the team reach bthe biggest goals. About the new Euroleague Blazic says the new format is “really attractive as you have the opportunity to play against the best teams of Europe.”
