Laboral Kutxa Baskonia has added to its discipline the international Slovenian Jaka Blazic with a three-year contract.
Born in Jesenice on June 30, 1990, Blazic is a 1.96 meters tall forward with wide experience in the top continental competition. With 25 years, the player comes from disputing the Turkish Airlines Euroleague last season with Red Star Belgrade.
His European experience does not end there. The new Baskonia signing accumulates more than fifty games in the European elite, playing for the Serbian squad and earlier in Olimpia Ljubljana in his native country. Last season played a total of 24 Euroleague games in which he averaged 9 points, three rebounds and one assist.
Blazic is one of the greatest exponents of Slovenian basketball and comes from playing the 2015 Eurobasket. His team lost in eighth of end against Latvia, thus ending his participation in a tournament in which he has averaged 13 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1 assist in 26 minutes per game.
