Saski Baskonia has acquired the services of the young Latvian Arturs Kuruc, a promising 15 year old guard that joins the Baskonia grassroots program with an agreement for the next eight seasons.
Born in the town of Cesis the 19th of January 2000, Kurucs was the top scorer and leader in assists of the Latvian National Team in the U-16 European Championship held recently in Kaunas, with 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 29.5 minutes per game.
The player will join the youth categories of the 5+11 Foundation next season.
