The power forward from Mallorca comes from Rio Natura Monbus and will play for Baskonia the next two seasons.
Baskonia has acquired the services of Alberto Corbacho for the next two seasons. The forward born in Palma de Mallorca, 30 years old and 2.00 meters tall, becomes the first signing for the Vitorian club for the 2015/16 season. The new reinforcement will arrive today, undergo the pertinent medical exam and then he will be officially presented.
He comes from Rio Natura Monbus, where he has played the last five seasons, and he currently is the top 3-point scorer of the Endesa League. Specialized in the perimeter, Alberto Corbacho has scored a total of 98 three pointers in the recently finished season, with an average of 2,88 per game. For the second consecutive year he has been the most effective player from that distance and has obtained the “Platano de Canarias” award to the best three point shooter.
Corbacho comes to Vitoria after averaging 24 minutes per game and 12,3 points, being one of the references of his team in the 2014-15 season.
