Mirza Begic (2.16 meters tall and 29 years) has extensive experience in European basketball. Over a hundred of matches played in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague endorse him. Member of the National Slovenian Team, the center born in Bijeljina also knows perfectly the Endesa League.
He was formed in the lower categories of the Bosnian KK Sloboda Tuzla and then has played in Italy, Slovenia, Lithuania, Spain and Greece. He has been part of historic teams like Virtus Bologna, Olimpija Ljubljana, Zalgiris Kaunas, Real Madrid and Olympiacos.
Begic arrives from Union Olimpia where he played the Eurocup this season averaging 14 points, 4 rebounds and 14.7 rating per game. The player will join the Baskonia expedition that left Vitoria this morning in its way to Klaipeda.
