The Technical Secretary of the Club highlights Orlando´s physical abilities and work ethic.
We keep analyzing players and bringing them forward so Laboral Kutxa Baskonia fans can get to know them better. Last week fans learned about Colton Iverson, this week is the turn for Orlando Johnson.
With the objective of fans being able to know more about the new faces of the roster, the Technical Secretary of the Club, Alfredo Salazar, defines the players and analyzes their skills. For Alfredo, Johnson is a player with “great mentality; he is a tall nº2. Physically he is very strong. We wanted a player capable of stealing the ball from the guard and starting the game”.
Salazar states that he has “good ball handling, an incredible attitude, he is the first to get to work, he´s not an American selfish superstar and his willingness to work is going to surprise more than one”.
We also want to point out the opinion of his teammates. This time we have the new player Davis Bertans talk about him. He says that he is very experienced “and that´s worth quite a lot, he also is a great shooter. He is a very offensive player that can read the game; he can get to the rim and can shoot from three point range. He is aggressive in defense”.
For the Latvian, Orlando will be a key part of this Baskonia. “He always gives his 100% in every practice. That´s what our team is all about, giving your 100%”.
