From 29 June to 13 July, Vitoria will host two weeks of intense work and development for basketball lovers in an amazing surrounding and with more payment facilities than ever.
Enrolments for the VI International Basketball Campus Baskonia are in full swing. The fastest, more than fifty kids, have already signed up for a unique and unforgettable experience this summer. It’s going to be a busy week of basketball that will allow participants to hone their game in first-class facilities and with experienced trainers and monitors.
The International Basketball Campus returns this summer in its sixth edition with lots of quality basketball, new activities and more payment facilities than ever. The International Campus is the main sports activity organized by 5 +11 Foundation. Its characteristics, advanced training methods and formative commitment have made the campus an international benchmark for this type of summer activities.
The International Basketball Campus Baskonia is intended for young players between 12 and 17 years and combines intensive basketball training for intermediate and advanced players with complementary activities such as English courses. Also, Spanish courses for non-Spanish-speaking kids, basketball conferences, computer courses, leisure activities and free time. As a new feature for this year, participants will carry out a case for perfecting their shooting based on real game situations.
Buesa Arena, BAKH, IVEF and Abetxuko will be again the scenarios where all training sessions are going to be developed. Places where participants can practice and improve their ball skills through a working method including both individual and team training techniques with direct applications on the game.
Last year, around 400 kids took part on the International Campus Baskonia, 15 autonomous communities and 14 different nationalities such as Chinese, Canadian, Turkish or Georgia were represented.

METHOD
Morning Workouts
SINGLE TACTICAL CIRCUIT: Six working spots to train the details of individual technique within a structure of collective game.
SHOOTING CASE: (NEW 2014): Every day shooting training will be conducted by breaking down real game situations.
Evening Workouts
TEAM TACTICAL CIRCUIT: Three workouts to evolve morning work and progress in the knowledge of the game.
DOMESTIC LEAGUE: Following the tradition of the campus on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the initial phase of the domestic league will be held.
SHOWTIME: we turn Saturday afternoon in a well deserved basketball holiday after a week of workouts: 5×5 finals, 3 point and free throw contest, diplomas and personal record delivery, special dinner and party with lots of surprises.

Another major new feature for this sixth edition is the freezing of prices and the possibility of financing the payment up to six months without interest for Laboral Kutxa clients and only 8 € for customers of other banks.
